Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Maggie
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s stone
By: J.K. Rowling
In the beginning of the book
Harry Potter is with his Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and
his very plump cousin Dudley, because Harrys parents, James and Lily Potter are dead. One day Harry gets a letter from Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but Harry does not know that. When Harrys Aunt and Uncle don’t let him read the letter, copy’s of the letter start coming out of EVERYTHING! The letter says “We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry”. When Harry gets to Hogwarts he, Ron, and Hermione find out about the sorcerer’s stone, but someone is trying to steal it for their master he-who-must-not-be-named. Will Harry and his friends solve the mystery and save Hogwarts? Read the book to find out.
My favorite part was when Harry and Ron meet Hermione
because Hermione is sort of a showoff, at that time.
I would recommend this book
to people who like magic, fantasy, and fun!

The Christmas Fight
The Christmas Fight 12/16/11
One afternoon in League City TX at 2:00 P.M. one Saturday in December
On Christmas eve ,Margaret and Kanani were looking under the Christmas tree. Suddenly Margaret said “Hey is it snowing outside?” and to that they both jumped up and looked out the window and found out they had an early surprise for Christmas. It was actually snowing! All of a sudden the two girls were jumping up and down screaming, “It’s snowing outside, it’s snowing outside!” The next thing they knew their mom came in the room carrying the laundry basket and said, “Do not yell that loud in the house, but you may go outside and play in the snow while I do the laundry. You might want to bring the elves out too.” “Yes,” said Kanani and Margaret together. They ran to the closet and got their coats, scarves, and hats. Then they both ran upstairs to get their elves. When they got up there, Margaret said, “Hi, Merry, Hi Christmas.” I see that you like your cookies. Kanani said to her elves, “Hi Eloise, Hi Jingle, I see that you liked your cookies too.” They grabbed their elves and ran back downstairs and into the snow.
Five hours later Kanani and Margaret were sitting at the kitchen table drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows in it. Their elves were having some too! Then they all went up the stairs (by all I mean the elves too!) They packed their bags and Margaret yelled, “We are all packed!” Their mom said, “Okay, come down with your bags and get in the car.” Then they got in the car after they put their bags in the back of the car. When their mom and dad got in the car it started with a “vroom!” and sped off to Kanani and Margaret’s grandma and grandpa’s mansion. When they got to their grandparents Kanani and Margaret ran in the mansion and ran toward their grandma and grandpa after they dropped all of their bags at the doorman’s feet. Kanani and Margaret gave their grandparents a huge hug and said, “Merry Christmas Nini and Papa.” In seconds Josie the dog started going, “Yap, yap, yap.” After an hour of talking everyone went to bed so Santa could come.
“Momma, Daddy, wake up!”said Margaret and Kanani while jumping on the bed. Their mom woke up with a startle. Kanani and Margaret went downstairs and opened all of the presents. Margaret’s cousin came. When their cousin got there, Margaret said, “Hi, Madison.” Then Madison said, “Hi Kanani, Hi Margaret, I got you guys a present.” She handed them a box with a silver top and a red bow. As soon as Margaret and kanani got their hands on it they took it back into the living room and tore the box open. Inside the box there was a snow globe with a snowman inside.
“Mama, Margaret won’t share the snow globe with me,” yelled Kanani the next day. Kanani and Margaret did this constantly until New Year’s Eve. Their mom said, “I think Madison could help you guys with your problem with the snow globe. Here she is.” “We have to tell you something about the snow globe,” said Kanani to Madison. “What is it?”, asked Madison in a worried voice. “We have trouble sharing the snow globe”, said Margaret. “Well then you guys could have a rock paper scissors game to see who should go first with taking turns” said, Madison. Kanani and Margaret tried that and it worked.
